Ovi Maps For Nokia N97 Download
Today I got a Nokia N97 mini and would like to use the offline Navigation feature. It says there is a life Long support for worldwide OVI Maps. Unfortunately I cannot find any active link to download.
The new popular OVI Maps with free turn-by-turn navigation was released on 21st of this month. It included support for the following device:
Nokia N97 mini, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition, Nokia E52, Nokia E55, Nokia E72, Nokia 5230, Nokia 6710 Navigator, Nokia 6730 classic and Nokia X6.
The Nokia N97 wasn’t compatible back then due to software related issues but we were promised a new version within a week. Nokia has kept its promise by release the OVI Maps for the Nokia N97.
The OVI Maps is compatible with Nokia N97 phones running firmware version 2.0.x and if you dont have it, you will have to update the firmware to get maximum benefit from the software.
Note-The version 2.0.x hasn’t been released in all regions so some people might be left out but not for long since Nokia promises to bring it out very soon.
We also hope that Nokia would make the software compatible with the older GPS phones such as the N95, N95 8GB, N82, N96 etc.
