Unreliable, Disorganised, Shameless Lying

This organisation is a service provider far far from a professional level. We booked a pick-up at 10am on next business day with MO. We carefully asked MO to have the documents ready before their driver goes there. MO asked us to email the documents. Lie1: We called their customer service at 10am next day. We were told the truck was on its way by checking their GPS. The ETA was about 2hrs. 'There are 2 deliveries, and we will be the first one before the Homebush.' Lie2: We called their customer service at 12:00am, We were told the truck was still not there yet. The ETA was 1.5hrs. Lie3: We called 2:00pm again. We were told the truck would be there soon. The ETA was 1.5hrs. Lie4: TTS called and asked for the documents that we already emailed to MO. So, we had to emailed it again at 2:48pm. Lie5: At 3:27pm, MM told us the document was incorrect. So we quickly emailed it again and called their customer service. We were told the truck already left and was at homebush by checking their GPS at 3:47pm. So, our goods wasn't picked up. But MM insisted the truck was still there at 3:47pm when we emailed the documents by checking the GPS. The miss delivery was caused by WSI closing for the day. 2 different stories. They must have multiple GPS to make it easier for their lies. By reading these 5 lies, everyone can tell how they run their business for the day. It took them the whole day to arrive PADSTOW at close to 4:00pm by keeping telling the lies. ONE more important issue with CAPITAL, they will charge you for handing over the document to their driver (when the original document is not required). Is it that hard in current digital world? Is this their internal management matter? Customers simply call to book a service. What does it have anything to do with the customers? This miss delivery damaged our business for a big time. No matter what excuses, in a very normal day without any nature disaster, how hard to deliver the goods for a few kilometers distance? CAPITAL can make the nightmare become true. Do not risk your business with CAPITAL. It is not a suggestion. Go ask around. It is a conclusion. It looks like they have a 'system', but actually there is none. The unreliability is from their DNA.

Unreliable, overcharges

Beware of capital transport they give you a price and charge you triple - worst experience ever you would much rather go to Civic Transport or Jet Couriers. They have charged me $60.00 for waiting, how appalling.

lost baggage perth airport

Baggage delayed by Emirates so did not arrive at Perth airport when my flight did. Was informed my baggage would arrive the next day at around 9.oo pm. On following up on this information I spoke to an extremely rude gentleman from Melbourne who said my baggage could arrive at 1.00 am on Tuesday morning at my house. When it was pointed out to the gentleman that it was early in the morning he was unconcerned and said I would have to stay awake. Not a way to run a business I believe and to think someone should stay awake until after midnight is unbelievable. I was also told to contact Emirates as they only followed instructions. One cannot believe this lack of customer service. Tracking information and ability appears to be unavailable.

Lying and Overcharging

Probably the worst experience I've ever had with a transport company. Not only did they send the wrong vehicle for the pick up they also charged me $130 over the quoted price after the pushy rep convinced me to give them a shot. I'm going to stick with Jet Couriers.

One Company Sub Contractors should Avoid

I was a driver for this company.

Any contractors out there should think twice about subcontracting to this company.

It will cost you money to work for them. Their turnover of drivers when I was there was high.

Are drivers recognized for their work....no! Why, it’s because you’re a 4 digit number and your'e making them money and that’s all!

Some Allocators are rude and pushy, inexperienced costing drivers money and time! Some Fleet controllers just don’t care, only time you hear from them is if you ran late! Maybe management need to get out and see what it costs to run a vehicle in this day and age because what they pay they have no idea other than pushing pens.

One of the lowest fuel levys around, when I was there it was 2.9%! Be ok if cars ran on water, but when saying to the allocators i don't have enough fuel, they'd say a courier without fuel, maybe pay your drivers more and they'd have fuel.

HOURLY HIRE of $21.50 for running your own vehicle, yep you heard $21.50 an hour! Worth turning the key for!

They'll leave you 50+ klm from home with no return travel, and their attitude is keep your radio and pda on and 'IF' anything comes through they'll let you know, and 99.7% of the time yep you guessed nothing comes in to get you home.

Advertising that you can make $1,000.00 to $1,300.00 p/week* on a triple rack ute, should be from $1,300!! So to make this $1,000 you need to do 9-12hrs a day, take out fuel, insurances, tax, superannuation, rego, wear and tear, so you may end up with $400 maybe less and doing 50hrs a week you're making $8 an hour.

If you wanna be a sub contractor - look around - don`t work for these guys..because your only making them money! There are other company’s out there that treat you better than a 4 digit number!

So Glad I left, drive for a company - I can actually afford to pay for my house not have it taken of me :)

The 'bonuses and incentives' don’t exist, It’s all lies!! Just awaiting the next poor person to sign up so they can rip them off too!!

I could go on with the amount of flaws but i think you get the point of how much money you won't make.

Avoid employment with this company at all costs

*works full time (including weekends) for a month with Capital Transport
*gets paid for what appears to be not even a weeks worth **Minus Capital Transport deductions for misc expenses
*constantly fighting for work on in cab radio, more than >10 drivers at a time can flood the channel asking for next jobs and here you are trying to get a word in
*Management and radio operator are useless, had >$10k of electronic equipment on board, trying to deliver to a non existent address (yes this is true) only to contact them and get the silent treatment, in other words 'they don't care, its in your hands'.

This is just a little of what i had to put up with dealing with Capital Transport and as much as they want to deny it, i was an actual driver for them. They sucker you in with lies and promises of 'bonuses and incentives' but its all lies. Recently i have talked to ex drivers from them at the Port of Brisbane, whom all say the same thing. Capital transport is blind to the fact that they don't care of the well being of drivers, only they rely on the next poor soul to suffer the same fate. Shame on you Capital Transport.

Disgusting, negligent, sleazy and disrespectful

Capital Transport’s drivers parked a large truck across the entrance to the car park of the building across from me, making it impossible for residents to exit. One of my neighbours and her children were trapped for some time while your drivers had abandoned their truck to visit a nearby building. She was honking her horn for at least five minutes.

When the drivers finally returned to the truck, they leered at a young lady walking through the complex as they passed her. Absolutely disgusting!

Once they reached the truck, they were whooping and laughing, making fun of the poor lady in her car waiting to exit her driveway.

This behaviour is negligent, disrespectful and absolutely unacceptable and this business should not be supported.

Patient and Polite!

I had a package delivered by Capital Transport and they were great! When the driver called me to say he would be 10 minuets, I wasn't home, however the driver stayed and waited for me to get back home and was extremely patient and polite. Such a great service! Thankyou Capital Transport!

Avoid working for them

This company doesn’t pay its drivers.That is why they never keep a driver more than 3 weeks.3 weeks is when they 1st get paid.Then the run for their lives.This company will run out of suckers to work for them sooner or later

Always over charge

When book a job show $89 plus fuel. Got bill cost $190. happen many times. Driver try make longer pick up time. He walk away for 30 min then charge over time.

Overcharging for poor service, shoddy equipment and unsafe practices

These guys turned up with leaking trucks and broken equipment that couldn't do the job we booked them for then charged us a ridiculous amount. We will never again use Capital Transport

Sales Harassment

Our company has been harassed by different members of the sales team. Multiple calls and a visit when we have told them we are not interested and to stop calling. We will never use this company due to their rudeness and lack of respect.

Hygiene is a problem with your Drivers

Unfortunately I am usually not one to complain but the Driver that made a delivery so early in the morning had the worst hygiene I had ever smelt. We had to spray the office with Glen 20 as soon as he left. I understand it can get hot making deliveries but its the middle of winter and the morning, he has not used deodorant ever in his life.
He needs to show more respect while wearing the uniform and actually look clean and smell clean.

If this is Kogan’s wheels it’s Okay

If this is Kogan’s wheels I was concerned with the reviews. But the recent delivery of our sizeable Tv was flawless. They rang yesterday advising delivery is tomorrow. The Courier rang today in the morning confirming it’s on within specified time frame. Then they rang 10 mins from delivery within agreed time frame. The package was undamaged and the protective cardboard casing no damage.

My only concern is now the durability of product (TBA)

Why always no driver?

Using this company for long time and always been good only till this January. Try to book many jobs from Jan till March, they keep saying no driver for most of the jobs, even I book the job few days before. Because of that, I try to cancel most of it & they even tell me need to pay the cancellation fee. And said the cancellation fee is more than half the job payment which is ridiculous. Not sure if anyone have the same experience, not sure why don't have driver, either too many jobs to allocate a driver for a job or just no driver to work. Why is that?

Crapital are the worst business ever

Had a lounge delivered by them from Amart. Worst experience ever .Not only did they ruin the new lounge they also damaged my car which was parked in the driveway. Drivers are rude and unconcerned with the mayhem they cause.

Come on Australia, you can do better than this?

Booked a pickup and after waiting 4 hours was informed that there was no driver available, so maybe tomorrow. Called them and was told they allocated a driver, definitely within the next hour. 6 hours later, still nothing. Go elsewhere, hire a car or van, but avoid this lot. If this is the level of service in Sydney, I will definitely have to readjust my expectations.

Hard working and reliable

We had 2 heavy items delivered to our very steep address. The 2 young men were on time and friendly and extremely polite and hard working under unusually hot and windy conditions. We could not thank them enough for their work.
